South America

South America is a continent located in the western hemisphere, mostly in the southern hemisphere. It is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the northwest, by Central America and Mexico to the north, by the Pacific Ocean to the west, and by the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
There are 12 independent countries in South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Argentina is located in the southern part of South America and is the second largest country on the continent. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, tango music, and soccer.
